BENEFITS FOR REGION
Following the successful completion of the pilot project, there will be optimization of the courses and experience exchange, in order to provide the opportunity to all local schools to apply received practice to improve the quality of education and the competitiveness of schoolchildren in remote regions. The STEAM laboratory methodology will be disseminated in all state educational institutions of the city of Atbasar.

Also, project participants will gain knowledge that would be relevant throughout their lives, and remain in the network of our alumni in contact with mentors and organizers of the project. Top graduates will be able to perform as mentors in subsequent courses of study planned as part of the experience scaling model.
The goal of the project is to improve the quality of education, the competitiveness of young people, mainly girls, in a remote area of the Akmola region by developing a STEAM laboratory in the field of science and technology and applying gained knowledge.
The CFLI program is designed to support small, high-impact projects in developing countries. Projects should align with the thematic priorities of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs. The selection and approval of project proposals is carried out by the embassy staff.

In Kazakhstan, preference will be given to project proposals that aim to advance the human rights agenda, strengthen the role of women's organizations and offer long-term solutions to protect and ensure the rights of the most vulnerable and marginalized segments of the population.
